It is shameful that people are being vac banned over steamworkshop mods and it is shameful that people are being given permanent vac bans over cheating in a single player game. My one and only van ban is this one, for a single player game, which I was given the ban 3 days before I could have even possibly have known it existed in the game. I have never cheated in a multiplayer game before, I have never received a vac been before this either. How do you give out vac bans for people who are using mods they downloaded from the official steam workshop for your game? People have reported being banned for using sweetfx and even mods from the steam workshop. I am not the only person who has received a vac ban over this. Vac was enabled for 11 days without any kind of warning to any players, last I checked (this morning) the dying light store page doesn't even list it as a vac enabled game either. As of today, February 10th, the only way they have told the player base about vac is through a steam discussion sticky that was posted today. Well three days ago I received a vac ban over it. Me and my friends were playing through dying light because of the expansion and I felt like messing around with it with things like god mode, since it's a single player game. Before the release of the expansion they secretly enabled vac for every mode of the game on January 29th, they gave no warning to existing players in any way about the addition of vac to the game.
